MP4 and WebM in the same player
If I have mp4 and webm as 2 quality options in the player, only one will play and the other doesn't come up as an option.

Both of the videos work on their own, but together they do not.

You cant choose which one to play from the player. You choose as the web administrator which one is the preferred video ( suggest mp4) and the webm will be the one to play if a browser does not support mp4, though nowadays that is rare.
But I want to offer the standard mp4, and have the option to play a vp9 with 60fps (for those who have support).
YouTube is doing this - why can't we?
Then put the vp9 as default. That will play if the browser supports it, the user will not get the choice though
I want them to have the choice in the player like they do with other videos.
only possible if the browser supports both formats.
Firefox supports both h264 and vp9, yet it doesn't show the option to switch between playback files.
you have the files in a playlist but there is only one playlist item, can you remove the playlist and just use the files as single source
I tried this and it makes no difference.

I have found that if I rename my mp4 from file.mp4 to file.webm, then it works in conjunction with my real webm.
Not working:
file.mp4 (h264 mp4)
file.webm (vp9)
Working:
file.webm (h264 mp4)
file2.webm (vp9)
Is there anyway to get this patched into the player. It is kinda dumb having to do this to make it work.
