What those two links tell you, pretty clearly, is that you CAN'T embed an HLS stream on Facebook.
The first article describes an embedding method using Flash, and it doesn't support HLS. On top of that, it requires a JW Player Premium license or better.
The second article relates to the now very-obsolete JW Player version 5, which also used Flash, and did not support HLS.
Just curious, but since this embedding method requires Flash, am I correct in assuming that it's not going to work on any mobile device?

Well I guess that is what I get for not having a Facebook account. I’ve honestly never tried to embed any videos on Facebook, but I know those two documents are the only two that we have that explain how to do it.
We use a similar method to embed JW Platform content onto Facebook. I wonder if those videos are not streamed via HLS either…

Thanks for your response...
I was able to embed the html5 HLS on my Facebook page.
First i installed the Static HTML: iframe tabs APP
and the embed the HLS code. It worked perfectly.
