VU Audio meter in the player

I wonder if there is a way to get a visual representation of that audio is present in a live stream? Like a level meter or something similar. The purpose would be to use it for testing streams live streams. I would like to know if there is audio in my stream but I don't want to have audio in my speakers/headphones.

This is not part of the jwplayer but you may be able to find a 3rd party plugin out there that does this kind of thing. Good luck-
