Secure HTML5 streaming (like Netflix)

I'm looking for some general advice on how to secure video content with HTML5 streaming. Neflix has switch from Silverlight to HTML5 and are able to secure their video streams. I'm interested in doing the same thing on my site.

Does anyone have any advice on where to get started with something like this?

I have been toying with one option but it has limitations that may be a deal breaker.
I use Amazon S3 for storage and set the video files to be private and put a bucket policy on it to only allow access from a certain URL's. This works on desktop browsers but I can't get it to work on Google Chrome on Android- which is a major problem for me

Thanks for the suggestion. In this case I actually need it to work on mobile devices. So that would be a deal breaker if it doesn't.
