CDN hosted JavaScript files failing

We are having an issue with a customer in China. It seems the Golden Shield is blocking the CDN that JW Player hosts Javascript files on.

We are self hosting the player, but JW still makes calls back for license checks in JW 5 and 6.

With JW 5 it is calling back for the HD video and CC plugins, which are hosted at: lp.longtailvideo.com

on JW 6 it is calling back for JW Analytics hosted at: p.jwpcdn.com

Both of those domains are failing for a customer due to firewall restrictions.

Is there a way I can truly self host the JW Player?

Unfortunately, some ISPs in China have blocked our CDN. There is nothing we can do currently to remedy this issue. I’m afraid there is no way to truly self-host at this time.
