Hi team,

There is known bug with JW player of triggering video on orientation change of iPhone or Andriod when using initial-scale with viewport meta tag. Is there any workaround you are aware of?

Thanks
Arun

Hi Arun,

What do you mean by ‘triggering video on orientation change’? Does the video autoplay when the orientation is changed?

I tried replicating this issue for myself locally and I can’t reproduce the behavior. Do you mind sending me a test page where this is happening so I can help troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks,

It would appear that it's a known bug, to be addressed in a future release, and that there's no known workaround at present.

Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for your reply. I find it surprising if this issue is not encountered by many users.

I hope fix could be made available in next release.

Thanks
