Increase Buffer length time

I use JW player with Akamai streaming for my website, i want to know whether is there any way to increase he buffer length time from 30 seconds to desired time

Are you using RTMP or HLS streaming? If you’re using HLS, our player will automatically load three segments based on the viewer’s bandwidth. If you’re using RTMP, our player tries to maintain a buffer of three seconds, but you can adjust this within the rtmp: {} block in your setup().
