I have a problem with my controlbar. instead of showing the play and pause buttons it shows grey background squares. For some reason I don't have access to the icon images that come with the player and premium skins downloads.

Your site just never comes up for me ("waiting...."), so I can't examine it.
But this problem usually crops up because something in your own CSS is interfering with the CSS in JW Player. In particular, you should look for something in your CSS that's targeting the "button" class. Use the developer tools in your browser to examine the CSS that's being applied to the control bar.
Sometime your site comes up OK - other times, it waits endlessly. Time to find a better web host! I see you're on Bluehost. Run, do not walk. Try Site5, Stablehost, or MDD Hosting.
At any rate, I found the problem. A css.php file is setting a background on the "button" class, and marking it "!important", so it's completely overriding the JW Player CSS for the buttons. It appears to be the "css.php?id=9&group=style3" file, line 209.

As for Bluehost, my account is over limit for databases and tables. I have multiple add-on domains because I design sites for friends. I will be deleting unused databases today. I need to upgrade my account. I will check out the companies you mentioned. Thank you for your strong suggestion.
Glad to help. This is a familiar problem, so I had a strong hunch about what to be looking for. It's usually just a CSS collision.
