IDM interference with playing of the contents

I have already searched and came to some dead end replies to this issue: How to make the IDM either fooled or not triggered at the time of playing a video. Well the fact that the client end is responsible for this is valid , but as far as you are not dealing with masses. Their knowledge of turning things off and on can't be expected from them.
Is there a practical way at te media server side that could be done to avoid this nuisance nad no user change/intermediation?

I unfortunately haven’t heard of a specific issue related to IDM (I assume you’re referring to Internet Download Manager) We typically don’t do specific workarounds for individual plugins, but do you have any more information about this type of issue?
