M3U8 Source Not Working with the stretching: 'fill" option

I am trying to fill a page with video and keep its aspect ratio.

The stretching: 'fill' option is working correctly with a MP4 source but not a M3U8 source.

I’m seeing a slight difference between fill and exact fit here. Is it possible to decrease the size of the players to fit two on one page for comparison’s sake?
