Trigger Ad skip event from javascript in jwplayer

I want to access skip ad functionality through my javascript code. But I did'nt find any option to trigger the skip ad event through javascript. There is only option in Advertising tag to set skip offset and it will display a skip ad button in Jwplayer. But I want to create my own button outside the jwplayer and when click button the ad will skip.
Pl. help me.

There is no way to configure an ad skip with our API. This could potentially be utilized to skip ads on the user’s end when they should not be skipped, so we chose to omit this API call.

Is there any other way to do this? I desperately need it, otherwise my whole hard work will go waste.

Again, there is no solution that the player can provide. We only offer this functionality within the player to prevent abuse.
