rtmp wordpress streaming

i am not sure how to stream a video in wordpress

i did the following ---

Add post >> add media >> add external media and pasted my rtmp url there , then i inserted it with jw player ina post but it is giving me error loading player , no playable sources found error

i have also tried using shortcode

but still no luck same error
