Custom skin broken with embedded youtube in IE 11

Hello,

I have implemented a custom skin on my player and it works great in Chrome and Firefox. However, in IE 11, the skin is not functional (the elements are visible, but clicking the buttons does nothing). Unfortunately I am unable to provide a link to my site, however, I was able to reproduce the issue with the custom skinning sdk example code.

I downloaded the skinning-sdk example and changed the 'file' setup configuration for the skinned video to a youtube URL. The video appears and plays when you click on the video, but the skin elements (namely the display icon and the control bar) are not visible and never appear in IE11.

I would greatly appreciate any help with this matter.

These are known issues with custom skinning and YouTube. I don’t recommend using skinning with youtube embeds, as youtube is constantly updating its API and the way they handle player controls. Thanks for reporting this -
