Remove video title from play button

Hello,

We are noticing, that on newly created players. The title of the video is all of the sudden appearing in the play button. I am not seeing anything in the player setup to toggle this on or off, I also do not see a way to toggle this via javascript with the jwplayer() function.

This would be an example of a player with this issue.

You should be able to change this with displaytitle: false within your player embeds if you are doing this externally from your JW Platform account.

Otherwise, we may be adding support to manage this from within JW Platform shortly. I can confirm with out team about this.

I have tried to add the displaytitle property in both the custom properties of the player and the video itself. Neither of those options work.

Are there any other solutions available. Our video titles are not user friendly, and we do not want to display them

Within platform, you are correct. We cannot change this behavior of the play button. However, we are working on changing this in the future.
