What's the difference between Time Watched (Avg. time per viewer) & Avg. Play Length

There appears to be a discrepancy between the Time Watched (Avg. time per viewer) stat reported on the right side of the Analytics page and the Avg. Play Length stat reported in the report grid below the chart.

Can you please describe the difference between these stats or point me to the definitions?

Time watched is the total number of minutes your video was watched. if 5 people watched your video for 5 seconds, you’d see 25s for the Time Watched value. You’d see 5s for Avg. play length.
