Overlay Ads

We are currently running overlay ads but need to insert a close function into the creative. Our Google ADX ads currently have them but we do not have this function for our in-house overlay ads. I've tried using AdsRenderingSettings.useStyledNonLinearAds in DFP but still couldn't get this to render. The odd part is that I tested a DFP vast tag with AdsRenderingSettings.useStyledNonLinearAds in Zedo Vast Validator and got it to work, just need it to work on our site.
